Low coolant is on

The low coolant light is on but the recovery tank is full.
How do I trouble shoot the low coolant sensor?

In all likelihood just need to replace the sensor...can be purchased for under $10.

I know the resivor has a leak
Does a new resivor come with the sensor?

Troubleshooting

1) Remove the connector, the warning light should goes off. If it does then it is the sensor not breaking when tank is full.

2) If the light stays on then it is something else. May the wiring
