Odd AC problem....

I'm having an interesting issue with the AC on my 126. The system is fully charged with no leaks, but the compressor will only run for 3-4 seconds before it kicks off. If I turn the ignition switch off then back on, the compressor kicks on then turns off again after 3-4 seconds. After charging the system I had the compressor running for 45 seconds(ish) and the air was cold. Knowing I've had issues with the Klima relay in the past, I ordered the new part thinking it would be the fix. I received the new part today and there is no difference. Where do I go next? What can I trouble shoot?

the 87 I assume you are talking about, has an RPM sensor in the compressor. if it's compromised, it'll act this way. I have a car doing the same thing. I've not yet fixed it...

Yes, the 87. It seems like that would make sense. A few months ago it would run most of the time, but when coming back to idle from rev's it'd turn off. That seems like a fun part to replace... How would I even do that..?

And to reply to an earlier post, no I have not replaced the pressure switch.
