help locating 60x rubber mounts for hard fuel lines

Hey guys I'm wondering if anyone has ever purchased the black rubber mounts for the brackets that the hard fuel lines clip to from the injection pump to the injectors? They tend to dry up and when the do the vibrations crack the hard fuel lines. I was on the phone with pelican for a while and didn't seem to be able to find them, while I did find the actual bracket the rubber inserts go into. My engine is an 84 190d 2.2, but I imagine these are similar on most of the 60x engines. Thanks for the help!

I ordered new clips and shims for my 300TD (OM603) last fall from the web site, just plugged in the numbers and was good to go. Remember Pelican site wants hyphens between the sections of the part number where M-B has spaces.

These little buggers are stiff, you are guaranteed to have sore fingers and will have uttered many unrepeatable words after getting all of them installed.

This is great! Thanks!! Stupid question but these look flat and mine have grooves in them...are my grooves just worn in over time?

Any advise for putting these shims and clips on? I know they are a pain...

yup. once snapped together (Eat your wheaties!!!) they develop grooves.

also, they have to be trimmed to fit in the various clips. only one size insert exists... and it's long.

If you are referring to the black rubber pieces, yes they start out flat.

They will acquire their round shape after the enormous pressure you will have to apply with your thumbs to get the clips to attach themselves to the brackets.

You will have to trim the rubber to fit on the 2-line applications. The tab goes into the metal bracket, the rubber goes between the hard line(s) and the clamp and the clamp grabs the bracket using the two little grooves in the wings.

The separator clamp does not need any rubber, it just snaps around the lines.

A very careful application of a pair of channel locks is key for getting these snapped in. Hook in one side and carefully set your channel locks to push down on the clip with one jaw while pulling against the metal bracket with the other jaw. It is tricky to line things up so that the channel lock lower jaw does not stop the clip from going in far enough through the bracket. Obviously make sure you are not putting any type of stress on the hard line while doing this.
