Antenna Mast Cleaning and Lubricating
Kent Bergsma has a new video on antenna mast cleaning and lubricating. For cleaning, he recommends alcohol....makes sense.
For lubricating, he suggests a Hirschmann product the comes in a packet....looks like one of those moist towelettes. He says don't use oil...I get that...attracts dirt. I've always used spray silicone....any downside to that?

i think silicone is good, even better would be PTFE (dry lubricant)

Little shining with 000 steel whool and some dry lubricant/silicone. Seem to do the trick.

My antennae went south, so I just listen to Pandora all the time. Worth every penny of the annual subscription.
