Fancy some LSD for your diesel?

G'day folks,

This indeed might seem drug related but after seeing the most recent wheelerdealers last night on TV where they put an ATB limited slip differential (LSD!) in a Mk1 Ford Escort I got thinking...

...mmmmm LSD for your diesel...

...why not? Total overkill!

So after a few minutes on google I came up with this

Quaife QDF7ZR for Mercedes W210 chassis - here's a link to a US web site for prices

Quaife QDF7V ATB Helical LSD Limited Slip Differential Mercedes 210 Axle C32 AMG, E55 AMG, CLK AMG, Chrysler Dodge 5.7L | Whitehead Performance

Cheaper in the UK here =>

Quaife ATB Differential For Chain Driven Cars - Demon Tweeks

(Warning - link directly above is a different LSD though - that's for the Mk1 escort!!!!)

So question - can a W123 / W126 axle spline fit in a W210 differential?

I have a LSD in the back of the jeep (locker in the front). If you put your foot down when turning at an intersection its sure to chirp the tires & thats with 10.5" tires.

Now there's my reason to get an LSD!

And you still need to bolt it up to the ring gear - this is only the part within.

Still if I remember correctly the W124 (was it?) factory LSD command a fair price - may be with a 20% off coupon...

I don't know for sure but most things 6.9 are expensive aren't they?

(I meant that you could go and live in the sun - oh hang about...

...you're already there...

...it is obviously no use to you send it to me!)
