Vacum sucking sound
87 300SDL, everytime I start it up I get a sucking sound on the under the passenger side dash. Eventually it disappears but its becoming worse.
How do I attack this? |

How are the vacuum lines? Are there any that are cracked, not connected properly, etc?
Offhand, it sounds like either there's a vacuum leak or an intake leak, if it's on that side of the car. Are you sure it's actually coming from under the dash, or just on that side? Any chance it's coming from the engine compartment? Maybe something on the firewall on the passenger's side... Hope that helps some...good luck!
