We had hail like that here in Houston a few weekends ago. People weren't concerned much about finding covered parking, though. Most were sticking their hands out of their car windows trying to catch it. Let's see them try that when it's golf ball size.

around here? around where?

anyway, we haven't had daytime hail around here since the 1990's, so...different reaction.

A month ago we had golf ball to baseball sized hail. I covered the 190 with blankets and it was dented even more than it already was but nothing major and nothing broke. Now the Sprinter had no protection at all and I can't find a single dent on it from hail. It took that hail like a champ. Fortunately now we have the option of driving the cars down to our neighbor's RV slip, which used to house an extremely large RV a couple of owners back. We have great neighbors by the way.

Cool - got any pictures of the BMX? (I always wanted one but I was over 6 foot tall at the age of 11 so I kind of missed out)

Well I'm now officially jealous - those little bikes are still the coolest things I've ever seen on two wheels. #1 son has a BMX ('cos I wanted it for him) but he hasn't seen the light yet. He likes skate boards...

...I mean skate boards - really!
