Need help on vacuum system 85 300TD

Broke down and the guy who fixed it messed with all the vacuum lines from the oil filter to the oil cooler.

No air
Doors won't lock
Will not turn off

New to the car

Look for a yellow check valve near the oil filter. Chances are that you will find a loose vacuum hose.

If not there, follow that supply line forward.

W123 Vacuum Interlock Diagram

Here is a good thread on the w123 vacuum Interlock Diagram.

The big black plastic line from the Vacuum Pump (front of engine) to the brake Booster, it the main vac line. in the center is a couple nipples that the various sub systems get their source of vacuum.

Brown is to shut the engine down
Green is the AC/Heat CC system.
Yellow is for the door locks, and yellow grey stripe goes to the vac reservor.
there is a yellow pod the 2 lines connect to. this is a check valve.

The guy may have snapped off the plastic nipple from the main vac line.
The above thread should simplify it.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
