Door vacuum pump electrical connector crumbled. Where does each wire go?

Tonight on the 81 300SD, I was testing the vacuum line from the from the vacuum pump in the spare tire compartment to check for leaks in the door lock/fuel door/trunk lock vacuum circuit, and in the process, I knocked the electrical connector out of the vacuum pump. I went to put it back in and it wouldn't seat. Every time I tried to re-seat it, the wax-like material at the end of the connector would crumble until nothing was left (you can see the wax-like crumbles on top of the spare tire), leaving me with 3 wires with female sockets at each end. Long term, I'll cut an intact connector off of a car at the parts yard and splice it in, but for now, I can just plug each socket individually, but I don't know where each one goes. Here's a photo. Anyone know where each wire goes?

The schematic should be on Startek for free for that year.

Looking at your photo, it appears the connector is similar to the one in the 124s. There are 3 wires, one each from the driver door, passenger door and trunk/hatch. The three inputs are isolated from one another internally but they ultimately all do the same thing - tell the pump to apply vacuum or pressure depending on what you do with the key. If you are unlocking the switch ties the wire to +12 V (and the pump makes pressure), and if you are locking it grounds the wire (and the pump pulls vacuum).

I do not think it matters which wire goes where on this 3 pin connector.

I get an error page whenever I try to view electrical info for the 81 300SD on Startek.

The pump for the 124 is different than the one used on the 81 300SD. The 3 wires for my SD aren't for each door, but are for 12v, 0v, and control. It matters where the wires go because I remember before it crumbled, the connector was keyed to only be inserted in a certain way.

Oh that is different than the 124 pump. Those have 2 connectors.

A flat one, with +12 unswitched, +12 switched (ortho only) and ground, and a round one, with the 3 door signals.

I agree that the three wires can probably go to any of the three pins. It won't hurt to experiment: connect one wire to one pin and try the various door and trunk locks to see if you can get one of them to lock/unlock all of the locks. Then try another one, etc.

I did a little experimenting. Found that the wires wouldn't stay connected, they kept sliding out. So one of these days, I'll go out to the parts yard and cut off a keyed connector from another SD and splice it in. Then, I'll know for sure that the wires are in their right spots.
