It says there are 2 depending on engine number, but I dont have the slighest idea where the engine number is or where to look, and neither does google. Does anyone here know?

your motor should have the 9 blade plastic fan, and the small WP pulley. your motor number should be on the machined flat above the PS mount.

Or if you know for a fact it is the original engine, the original, as-shipped engine and transmission serial numbers are available on the datacard feature of EPC.

Conversely this is a good check to see if your engine/transmission was ever swapped if you aren't sure...

Well I can't see the engine number, and I think the engine is original, but I honestly have no idea. It does have a 9 blade plastic fan though, is there only one type of fan clutch that goes with that fan?

1983 is a mid change over year. Early '83 model years had the big pulley and 6 blade metal fans.
