My Father is in the hospital, he coded tonight...
he is recovering from GB surgery, and most of his organs are failing... he was breathing on his own until today, and they put him back on the ventilator and put him under with propanol (yeah, the MJ drug) we're meeting with the DR in the morning sometime (best guess on schedule is after 7am... maybe by 9... nice)
it's hard... I have been working on restoring an old interview from the 70's with him about his (ours actually, I was there as well) time spent in Iran during the revolution.. I'm uploading the first segment on youtube on my channel... once it's up there, I'll post a link here for my friends to look at, and see what my parents looked like 35 years ago...

prayers aloft, my man! my dad had a 'routine' operation at the age of 74; after several complications his int temp went to 90 deg. coded on the table 2x and in the cicu once again. it looked pretty bleak but he made a full recovery! will continue to pray and keep checking this thread.....

John, I feel for you for what your are going through. It is difficult to see our parents health failing and nothing we can really do about it.
I lost my Dad a yr ago last July, he was 91. It`s an emotional Roller Coaster ride, with three ER rides to the hospital over the period of about a year. he bounced back each time, but each time he wasn`t where he was. then a Brain Hemorage, and was gone in 2 days. really was a blessing he didn`t linger on. We will send some prayers your way for you and your family. Charlie
