sticky clutch

Hello
I have a 1981 240D. It has a new clutch, throw out bearing master and slave cylinders. It worked perfectly for a couple of years. Recently I have noticed that the clutch will stick half way up. This doesn't allow the transmission to engage. usually happens between 1 and 2. Any thoughts?
