Shut off valve not working - low voltage error?
Hi, still looking into my car that doesn't start. To not mix too much in one thread I fire up a new one :-)
I measured the SOV contacts, and it has some ohms. Then measured the voltage delivered to it, and it was only about 3V !!! So I guess that that is the reason why the car is not starting? The SOV is not opening when connected to the contact. But it does open when giving it 12 V. So what can cause this? Where is the switch for the SOV? Mercedes E300TDT s210 1998 |

haha, yes i know it is an old post, I am just going through similar problems now with my 98 and was feeling rather frisky at the time I wrote that, have been searching desperately for some quality information that isnt just "replace this part, then that part.....then this part if that didnt work" I was searching posts and came across this thread that did not have a conclusion.
