rear window regulator question 126

Hi. I have the regulator from the lr window in my daughter's 85 300SD. Its broken. Part number 126 735 01. I looked it up in Pelican parts and they show a different part number. I can see someone has been into this door before and cobbed some things up so it might well not be the right part. In fact that may be why its broken. it resembles the picture in the online catalogue.

Do I need to worry about it not matching?

Are you sure you're reading the assembly part number on the regulator? That number which looks to be missing a couple of digits, might be a component part number.
