I've never seen one with a velour interior, this was a US model car only..

I've never seen that either. Looks like it's pretty clean too, which is rare for a velour or leather interior. Mike

Wait a minute here, the armrest is still Palimino leather.
Something is funny here. Either he broke the old armrest, and just found this Palimino one and put it on, Put this aftermarket velour seat coverings on, or re-upholstered all the seats with velour..

On all the MBs of that vintage that I've seen, the door uphosltery matches the seat upholstery. Those seats have been reupholstered.
