EDIT: What is this "right click" thing you speak of? One button mouse here (hard-core MAC guy). When I get my new Mini (soonish to happen) I'll get a mouse with a scroll button - THAT would be handy.

Thanks all

how old is your mac? all modern macs have left, right, and two finger click... even though there is only one (heck, some touchpads have no buttons...) it's the normal click, left side, and the contextual menu with a control click...

I'm on a Mini - last series before the Intel chip was fitted. You know Leopard, Snow Leopard, etc? Mine's "Sick House Cat".

The mouse, however, is much older. When I get a new Mini (soonish) I'll get a mouse with a scroll feature. It'll probably have extra buttons as well though I feel no need for them.

I'd keep this Mini except it can't support the new Yahoo system, can't update my plug-ins, can't stream video very well, etc, etc. So it's time.

hmm... you need to stop by my place and get a more modern mac, and mouse/keyboard!

I'm guessing you have this one?

The processor is a Power PC G4. I haven't ever seen one of those roundish mice. My mouse looks EXACTLY like this:
