SDL -trouble installing new drive shaft

Everything (font and rear bolted up) but cant one of the two center bearing carrier bolts to thread in.....Any tips. Ive installed both bolts "dry so the threads are ok. May the carrier goes on first then the shafts

Any tips would be great

ps,,,,,it's the upper carrier bolt

The carier bolt inserts might be cross threaded or damaged, does it get stuck? or spin?

I usually replace them/have them on hand when doing that job. The inserts are only about $15 each from the dealer.

I always connect the carrier first, before I connect the driveshaft to the trans...
