OM602 Turbo Glow Plugs

I am trying to order new glow plugs for my 190DT. Different sites show different plugs. What is the correct Bosch number for the OM602 Turbo engines?

Thanks,
Chris

80031 is the Bosch p/n that I installed in my 190D.

Thank you. I thought they would be different than my 240's because they run longer.

Between the 80006 and 80031, one is physically longer. Jeremy compared them in a thread some years ago.

But the 80031 is correct for the 602?

For US cars, 80031 is correct for the turbo 602 with inclined injectors and possibly afterglow. 80006 is correct for the naturally aspirated 602 with vertical injectors and no afterglow.

Great! Thank you. I think when I was searching for the proper glow plugs I came across the thread comparing the lengths. But I don't think they ever came to a final conclusion on to which one was correct. At least plainly stated.

Hmmm.
87 300TD, 80006 was the part I sourced.

I figured the 87 190DT would be the same... this is not so? great.

Odd as it is, for US models in '87, MB used inclined injection in the 190D turbo (fine threads at tip) and vertical injectors in the 300s and naturally aspirated 190D (coarse threads along shank). Is there a correlation between vertical injection, turbo and trap? IIRC the 190D turbo has neither a trap nor a cat. Neither do the 300D 2.5, 350SD/L and 140 SDs.
