I'd rather have either of these (Triumph Street Triple 675 or Speed Triple 1050):

2012 Triumph's Speed and Street Triple Review - YouTube

I currently have this (and love it lots, but with only 22,000 miles, unlike this guy):

Ninja 650r Review: 40,000 Miles Later - YouTube

He's right about the twidly bits (a term Adrian Newey coined) being way more fun than speeding on a straight.

Brings up a question. Has any company made a Diesel motorcycle? I mean a real, available to the public, rideable Diesel motorcycle? I've seen rotaries, turbines, etc. but not a Diesel. One-offs don't count.

Some talk in the article about it being the world's fastest Diesel-powered motorcycle and I'm sure it is, but there's no class for it so therefore no official record (would have run Time Only). Maybe FIA or some similar sanctioning body has a class? Still a cool accomplishment.

I like the same things in motorcycles as I do ladies. Slim, light, fast.

There was a engine from a diesel powered scooter on E bay some years ago.

Gasoline is leaving the construction site, " Jumping Jack " type tampers that used to be 2 stroke gas are now diesel.

Nah Dan, I've been hitched to the same one for 34 years. She's long, slim, fast, but never been cheap or easy.....neither have the motorcycles been.

I'll admit the Connie is a bit bigger girl than I like to run around on but I thought I'd be doin more long distance riding.
