95 E300D Wagon
There is a pretty cool 95 E class diesel wagon for sale on Ebay. It's
just what I was dreaming of. Has an OM606 in it. States that it's a "professional" complete conversion. 6600 bucks. If I needed a car I'd fly down to look at it. If it were done to the specs advertised it might be a very unique vehicle to own. I'm surprised to learn it only has 135HP though. I think my TD has 125HP. It likely would take more maintenance than my reliable as a rock TD, so one really would not be gaining much except bragging rights

This car was posted on ebay not too long ago, and I do believe it sold, but I'm not sure. If it DID, then why is it being sold again? (skepticism duly implied.) Problems, or profit motive?
BTW, if the builder had put in a turbo 606 with a fully mechanical pump from a 603, I'd be all over this in lieu of looking for a CDI. A 606 turbo in a 124 would be simply awesome.
