Can I run 215/65/16 tires on my 1995 E300D?
I was wondering if I could run 215/65/16 snows on my W124 95 E300D? They were on my previous 1997 E300D. Thanks

Never mind, I just discovered that they are over 7% taller and may affect the anti-lock braking abilities of the car.

ABS won't know (or care) if all four tires are the same size.
OE is 195/65-15 Sixto 87 300D |

If you want to run 16's and keep the speedo accurate, the best you can run is 205 or 215/55-16.

I've run 205/55-16s on a number of w124s.
The 205/65-16 size will also work. For at least the late W124s, 94-95 with M104, the CC looks at both the rear axle and left front wheel speeds, and if the front and rear tire sizes are not the same, CC will not engage. Jim
