Anybody Need Euro W123 Parts

There's a 1980 280e (presumably Euro spec) in a local pick n pull. I haven't seen it yet, but I can pull and ship some parts if needed (at cost, no middle man markup lol).

Please reply to this thread if you need something rare from a Euro 123.

Have a good Thanksgiving!

Luke

Where are you located? I'd like a rear bumper if its a 3 piece bumper. If the bumper is still there please get it. If your in CA I can come pick it up. if not we can figure out how to ship it.

You can see the bent bumper on my Mom's project car here.

Maybe if its got amber corners or rear euro tail lights (without the red on the sides) those would be cool too!

Lights

Does the car have european style headlamps installed? If yes, the large square or round-inside-housing type?

Thanks

The 280 E doesn't have to be Euro, BTW.

Euro parts? I need a rear bumper (the one-piece one) and the dark amber turn signal lenses.

Great to know...thanks for the replies.

I didn't realize an American-spec 280e existed.

It rained steadily/heavily yesterday and today. I assume the place will be closed tomorrow. I will go there Friday or Saturday and pick away. I haven't owned a W123 in 10+ years, so I forgot the dark ambers, manual climate, etc were desirable. I always knew the bumpers and lights were a hot commodity though.

This place deals primarily Hondas and domestics so not many MB pickers out there. I predict the car will still pretty much be intact. Might be worth buying whole if no crash damage!

Thanks again...hope to be of some assistance...will update the thread with pictures when I can go out there.

Luke

Yup, the 280E was sold in the US through 1981. Gatorblue has one.
