126 water leak

Water drips onto the "reveal" during rain, then down to the rearview mirror, or the side of the reveal.

I don't have this once underway after a minute or two.

Nothing on the floor. Just the center console.

I was going to remove the A pillar trim, but the FSM says just to bang it off. I would think I would have to remove the reveal first, as the trim is under both the top and bottom at the dash. How can this be simply popped out?

This past summer, I had intermittent issues, I cleared the sunroof drains (weren't plugged as I remember) and thought that solved the issue, it did not.

I have poured water in the SR drains, they work fine.

A local glass shop tested the windshield for leaks, they found nothing.

Turned out to be a failed seal, the local boys cracked the old windshield getting it out.

The butyl tape had failed (lower) and a P.O. used some urethane on the side. Butyl and urethane don't play well together.

I'll have a new windshield tomorrow.
