AMG tuned OM616 and 617!!!!!!

Now I'm sure the days of AMG Diesel tuning are long gone,, but maybe it could shed some light into the future who knows?

Didnt get much out of her. According to that doc, the 617 was advertised as 88kW, which is 118hp. Nowhere near the Finns.

Huh? That doesn't make sense. Stock HP for a 617.952 is 125.

NA 617, turned up to turbo 617 power.

Spend the dough, get the results. Around what, $3k for a 250hp 617?

There were after market kits available for the OM616 engine. A couple years ago someone posted some pictures for an Flier or Magazine article about it.

I have a new, in the box, never used complete Turbo kit for the OM616 engine. Bought it from a guy last July.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
2) Even less power
3) Not nearly enough power!! 240D w/auto

Anyone that thinks a 240D is slow drives too fast.
