83 300TD little to no hert

Im sure its a torn monovalve diaphragm. I have ordered one but will take a week or so to get to me.
My question is can i remove the diaphragm or stick the monovalve in a always heat position? Its cold and no heat really sucks.
Thanks. Jay

Remove the plunger, not the diaphragm.

In case the problem is electrical, you could also disconnect the monovalve harness first.

After picking at it I found that there is no power going to the little electric pump. Im guessing its a faulty CCS. Will dig up one and see if that fixes it.
