I had to remove the links to the competing parts sites, Pelican has the brands for all the parts they sell, making it easy to know where they come from.

if you give them a call, there may be a "kit" for rebuilding the entire front end of your vehicle!

Caveat Emptor

Just consider two things:

1. Why the sites that offer the "kits" display brand names in their listings for individual parts, but not the kits.

2. Would they not display the supplier/suppliers' name(s), if you were going to feel they were solid brands? That would seem to be logical marketing, no?

I bought a Front end Parts Kit and it was all URO parts. Not one of the packages or parts was marked with the Country of Origin; likely China.
When I bought it it was around $225. If it is still around that price it is likely they same parts. However, simply ask the Seller the Parts Makers name.

They told me that it was made up of parts from many different companies and sold under their part number. Basically the guy didn't know. How did that kit hold up? They claim it's heavy duty, but who knows.

As long as your oil pump was making pressure before there is no reason to assume it will not continue to do so.
Lots of 617.952s out there with more mileage on the Engines and Oil Pump and no Oil Pump issues.

Some People have had a problem with the Oil Pump Chain Tensioner and the Spring and there is some little Clip on the end of the Shaft that wears out as well as where the Spring Makes Contact.

If you really want to check something check the Oil Pump Pressure Relief Valve and the Spring. You don't want to see any scoring on the Valve of flat spots worn on the outside diameter of the Spring.
