Lot of w123s and w124s possibly getting crushed near me

A local indy near me has closed. I think it's been closed for awhile, but the building is just now for sale since January. It has roughly a dozen and a half or so of w124 and w123 diesels. I doubt it'll be sold soon with the market the way it is but I know all these cars are going to be crushed. I saw one Porsche there too and I think there is a w116 but I'm not sure if it's diesel or not. Just makes me sick thinking of all the good parts and motors in the cars. A lot of them I thought were decent parts cars. I have no where to put these cars or I'd offer more than scrap for each car and take them all.

Welcome to any given day in SoCal. The vast majority of W123 and W124s being crushed here are completely rust free.

And where exactly is "near you". Maybe other members in your area could assist.

Philadelphia? My logo above my name should say that I will fix that. I won't post the address on a public site as the owner probably doesn't want to be harassed but PM if interested I will be willing to give an address.

Good to hear I am not the only one alone. Good luck finding any W124 around here in PA without jack-tube rot at minimum.

Shesh if the owner isn't a personal friend to you....post the mls listing of the building...who cares....I imagine with that many cars, it wouldn't be hard to notice them from the street or google earth.....and your aware of the sky high prices of Porsche right? north of 300k is not unheard of in that circle...

Plenty of rust free bodies around here if you are willing to make a road trip. How about you bring me some drivetrains and you can take back a body or two?

Yes, I do have a background with Porsche's also. Friend of ours was a tech for 20 years or so at Porsche. Some parts are crazy expensive, but most won't DIY a Porsche and get scared away when they are just about as simple as a Benz in my opinion.

I have a nice 85 300D needing parts if you want it... rust free, but for a dent in the rear quarter...
