240D Spare Radiator Parts ID
I pulled the radiator and shroud out of my 240D today to make enough clearance to change the belts. As the radiator lifted out, this piece either fell off or came loose and landed in the bottom of the radiator cavity. The little fingers on the edges are about the same width as the radiator itself, so I can imagine it's a mount or a prop of some sort that supports the radiator as it sits in the installed position, but - I can't quite work out where it goes. It was in the passenger side of the area where the radiator drops in.
Any suggestions? Thanks. |

Can you provide a picture from the other view of it, please?

Sorry for the poor quality pictures - my camera phone is the fastest way to get photos on here and my lens has got some sort of damage to it.

I don't recognize it so its either something you usually don't see or even perhaps an alien piece installed to repair something. There is a bare spot on the bottom of it on the side which suggests it was fastened there. I'd look around and try to find a bare place that matches it.
