ReRun of Auto Trans Vacuum Stuff

We talked about this a while back but my foggy old memory can't pull it up. I know we talked about removing the trans vacuum stuff now that I have a manual trans. Remember that this is on my '85 OM617.

Is that the plastic stuff on top of the IP? As best as I can recall I can just pull the plastic bits and toss the whole deal (unless someone wants it). Is that right? Are their any holes that need plugging?

Thanks for helping an old man out!

Dan

Yup, the plastic thingy on top is the transmission modulator, it can go.

The shutoff is the metal one in the back, leave that in place.

Anyone need the plastic bits? It worked when I parked the car. Pay the shipping and it's yours.

That item is the Vacuum Control Valve, not the transmission modulator.

Yet, as mentioned, it is no longer in the loop, sell it.

Either way, it goes to the first bidder.
