Door Sill Chrome/Stainless Steel Strip Source? 1977 300D

Does anyone have a source for the narrow chrome/stainless steel strips in the door sills? I've not had any luck finding them. I even checked some specialty metals suppliers but have had no luck there either (seems every thing they had was too thick).

Thanks!

I edited the title.

Is this the brushed aluminum strip glued to the door sill cover?

If this is what you are asking for, it is part of the door sill cover.

That's the part. I didn't realize it's aluminum. My door sills are in great condition, but the metal strips on the front doors are really messed up. I would really like to replace just the metal part.

that metal strip is incredibly thin. It peels right off. You're probably better off just replacing the plastic sill plates. They pop right off.

You could probably make them from some metal tape or the tape they use for wrapping hvac ducts....
