Google Find Euro-style gear hose clamps

I don't think I'm stepping on Pelican's toes here as I don't think they carry these.

I went looking for Euro-style gear hose clamps - the kind that don't cut into the hose. I found some at West Marine - at $4.79 each for the 12mm to 19mm (roughly) size! Ouch!

So I went online and found . I bought a box of 10ea. 8mm to 12mm Au-Ve-Co brand (a well established brand), made in Germany - for $9.02. Even with USPS shipping they were only about $1.35 each.

The order was filled promptly and shipped quickly so this is a good source for these.

If I'm out of line here please delete.

Oops - they won't let me fix the title. I'm a lousy typist.

Dan

Cool site. They also have things like new door panel clips for less than $1/ea.

Great find. You can get that stuff from the dealer, if they are patient/polite enough to look it up, but I always feel like Leghorn Foghorn when I start asking for u-nuts (aka speednuts) and grommets .

Prices seem excellent.

Thanks Dan for the site info. I clicked on the Nissan button and found the grill clips for my 82 Datsun. Dealer price $4.00 ea, here 52¢. And most time the dealer says."NLA".

Are these the same as fuel injeciton hose clamps?

I'm a big fan of fuel injection hose clamps on fuel lines and Ford springback clamps on radiator line. Cheap at the PNP.

Nope. They look exactly like:

Notice that the gear teeth are not cut thru the band. That way they don't cut the hose when you tighten them down.
