Northern Californians, Who's interested in a meet?

Who would be up for a meet? Maybe in May?

I'm hoping to have my moms car done for the So-Cal meet in April. Then some time after that, in the next month, my mom will be coming from Louisiana to pick up her car. This means shes going to miss the big get together in Texas. So, why don't we meet have a meet here in Nor-Cal while she is here. Doesn't need to be a large deal, maybe just meet at a park, maybe get some lunch, or BBQ in the park. Does anyone have an idea for a location? I'd be willing to drive to the bay area if thats closer for the majority of people. I do know a hand full of local Sacramento people who have expressed interest in getting together.

Obviously not Memorial Day weekend. What date works for you? My mom has yet to nail down the dates of her trip, so we're flexible.

My car's not finished yet, but I hope to have it done by then. I've also got summerschool and work but we'll see what can be done!

EDIT: Maybe if the W124 starts, I can make it wherever we go.

Well, my issue is that I don't have a place to stay until after the 12th of June, I.I.R.C.. So thank you Nik for the invitation, but alas, doesn't look like it will work out...

I would love to have a Nor-Cal GTG. WE only have the weekend of the 17th and 31st available in May.

May 2nd we will be in Portland for the Grand Daughters BD, then back to Cali, cut off at Red Bluff to Susanville and pick up Hwy 395 to Carson City Nv, to see my 92 yr old Mom for a few days. Then back To Santa Cruz.

Jeremy! Charlie! YES. I haven't seen you guys in years. I want both of you to see the mom car in real life!

The 17th could work.

When my mom comes to visit, I'm pretty much forcing her to go on vacation. She comes to CA yearly, but when she does she normally goes shopping with my sister, and cooks a family dinner at my house. She spends all her time in Sacramento. My stepdad is the one who started her yearly visits because they both like road trips. He from Texas, and doesn't know much of California, and sadly his trips out here hes seen Sacramento 3 times. So this time with the car available, I told them we needed to see some of California in the car before they go home. I plan on taking a week off work and we're going to drive down the coast in the Benz'. So I'm thinking we ether start our week long trip with a meet, or end it with one. All these plans are up in the air, just now as the car is coming together am I starting to make plans.

17th of May? That then means I have to make two trips if I wanted to see you. Well as usual, I never seem to be able to meet with anyone owning another Mercedes; guess I am just frustrated... There is locals here in Phoenix, but refuse to meet.

Adriel, If you can't make it to the meet, my mom will be traveling through Phoenix on her way home to Louisiana, She is always down for a reason to get out of the car and grab some food.

May 31st works better for us.
We'll be in the S.F. on the 17th visiting an old friend from out of town.
But, if it's down in the bay on the 17th we can make that one and bring our friend
She's from back East, so we can show her how to have a good time on the West Coast!

C'mon, it could be cool . Nik's mom sounds really cool. Her name is Peggy. How can someone with the name "Peggy" not be cool?
