1972 220D Alternator wiring...

I just removed my loose alternator in order to tighten up the mounts and inspect the connections.

Unfortunately, I accidentally removed the 3 wires attached with bullet connectors before I took a photo.

I've got the alternator reinstalled but now I'm stuck.

Does anyone happen to know which wires go where?

The wire colors are:
- Red with blue stripe
- Orange
- Black

The alternator terminals are labeled:
- D+
- D-
- DF

Noah-
Hopefully someone can answer right now, but if not, I will check tonight. My hunch is DF is black, D- is orange (brown, I think), and D+ is red/blue.

Do this google image search and you will see some examples:
wire color D+ DF D- alternator

But like I said, I will check for sure later if nobody else can confirm one way or another.

Thanks for your help guys. You were both correct.

If I would have thought it through a bit before I posted I would have realized it's marked on the plug going to the voltage regulator.
