So I had a senior moment in the garage with the hood in the vertical position and the garage door opener inadvertently opened. All my fault.
In any event, I seem to have tweaked the hinges to the point where the hood will not close. Neither hinge seems to be badly bent as the opener shut off when it met the resistance of the hood, so I am hopeful that I can bend them back rather than replacing them. The hood itself is undamaged.
If anyone has a known good hinge off the car that they could measure for me, it would help me know what I ned to do. The dimension I need is from the center of the 13 mm hex head bolt that fastens the end of the hinge that to the body beneath the air vent, to the closest of the 6mm bolts that fasten the hinge to the hood.
Alternately, if anyone has a known good set of hinges for sale, please send me a pm.
Thanks for any and all assistance.
Peter
