Front end noise

Hello everyone
1978 w123
Just did front end work lower control arm bushings inner and outer
Guide rod mount bushings and lower ball joint
Took it in for an alignment (not at mb dealer)
Now I get grinding noise when I turn left Low speed or high
It sound like the the caliper hitting the wheel
The guy at the alignment shop said the sticky wheel weights hitting?
I jacked the car and turned the wheel. No noise
Any ideas?

Have you checked the wheel bearing clearance?

I'd also double check all of the joints - make sure everything is done up correctly.

I have to replace my idler arm bushing this week. It makes a noise when I turn right(but not left). . I jacked the car up and had a helper turn the wheel. It was apparent where the noise was coming from when I was under the car.

just fyi

I don't believe the sticky wheel weight thing.

Check the bearings by jacking up the front end and trying to move the wheel with your hands at 12 and six o'clock, then at three and nine o'clock.

Did you do anything to the rotors?

So I just jacked up the pass side and there is play from 3 to 9 o'clock and it seems like it's moving from the ball joint side
But it's brand new?
Could bad wheel Bering alignment make it do that?

Sorry
Forgot to mention that's the side that's making the noise

If it seems to be ball joint related, it isn't the bearing.

Was the ball joint seated and properly torqued?

Grinding sound, to me, would not be ball joint related, tho.

More rotor issues. Bearing problem sounds are high pitched.

Tie rod ends are few months old

Maybe the brake heat shield, which directs air flow around the brake caliper?

Easy enough when the car is on a lift or on jack stands. From below/inside the wheel, rotate the tire and observe how close the heat shield is to the inside of the rim, and using a regular screw driver, bend it away from the rim as required.

Inspect your upper control arm bushings, in the fender.

Just finished doing wheel Berings and a new lower ball joint on the side that's making noise when Turing
The play is gone from 3 to 9 o'clock but
The noise still There when Turing hard left at slow speed and high speed
Could it be idler arm bushing?

The noise only come on when steering left from front pass tire
I can also here it when the car taking off from a dead stop but not as bad as Turing left
It sounds like scraping or maybe rubbing
