New style primer pump w/ biodiesel?

Looking to replace the primer pump on my 617. Right now I have the old-style pump and it's leaking a good bit when pumping to prime. It does the job, it does not leak when screwed down tight, it just leaks when pumping.

I've seen that the newer squeeze primer pumps are NOT rated for biodiesel. Oregon, where I live, has a B5 mandate. I would also like to retain the ability to burn biodiesel when/if I want.

Do I look for an old style primer pump, or is the new style good to go with biodiesel?

Thanks all.

It should work fine, especially with B5. That's such a low concentration as to be a non-issue in any case.

If you're interesting in running B99 and want to have the best pump you can get, search on Google for 'heavy duty monark hand primer pump'.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry about it either.

I think Kent the alarmist sells new old style ones.

Thank you folks. I will probably run a tank or two of B99 on occasion, but that stuff is just too expensive for normal use.

The New Style Bosch Hand Primer is supposed to have a Viton Seal inside of it. However, sellers sometimes have in there Ad that it is not for use with Biodiesel.

I used to have the address to Bosch Ad stating the Viton Seal but it is not working anymore.

Added later:
Hand Primers
On the bottom right is a "Features" Button. Click on that.

"Dual edge Viton® seal"

.
