w124 SLS system question.
I'm finishing up the rear suspension refurbish and have a question about this SLS system. I replaced the old SLS rams with newer ones, I know this system is self bleeding however before I hook up the swaybar links I was going to start the car up and let the SLS pump fill up the new rams and bleed the system at the valve. I figure it would be easier to fill with the z links on the sway bars unattached that would work the same as disconnecting the valve arm from the sway bar link.
Is this going to work or is there a better procedure? Thanks for the help.

I think the best way to bleed out the system is to loosen the hydraulic fittings at the top of each strut (highest points in the system). Engine should be running. Let the foam out, tighten the fitting up when clear fluid is running out.

Thanks for the reply, 1 out of 70 is not bad. It is all good. Set the car down and went for a drive with a couple hundred pounds of tools and equipment in the back, rides pretty nice. I had to refill the tank once and kept going. I may try to bleed off at the top valve later.
