Go to the dealer with a copy of your registration. They will make a copy of your driver's license and order the key by VIN. It costs about $25.

Took two days when I got a new ignition and vin matched key for my 300TE. Bring your ID and registration to the dealer.

There are locksmiths that can copy an '80s vintage MB key but they're few and far between. Gene at Schwenk Lock and Safe in San Jose can help if you're in the area. It might be the only option if the locks aren't original to the car or (ahem) you don't meet dealer requirements.
