water in rear floorboard

Got lots of rain today and when I went to the grocery store I noticed that the bottom of the grocery bags on the rear left were soaking wet. The bags on the right floorboard were dry. Why are both sides not wet? Where is the water coming from?Is the water draining to one side or what? Please help!!
