Help please understanding error codes on '99 Turbo Diesel
Hi All - I just did the trick using the climate control unit on my '99 E300DT to get error codes. I can't remember where the post was but I printed out the instructions and used them. While it looked like it worked the numbers that came up where not in the same format as the print out I have. The codes for the check engine light I have on are (with the format from the printed copy I have):
E61 231 or P0231 Fuel Pump Secondary Circuit low E61 234 or P0234 Engine Overboost Condition E61 416 or P0461 Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Range/Performance E FF unknown I'm assuming E means Engine? Any help is appreciated. it is always best to know what is going on before talking to a mechanic, non?

the codes you pull from the climate control are only for the climate control unit and are not OBD codes.
