300d engine noise?? Bottom end?

Hello! So I haven't driven my 300d in awhile and but have over the last week. I am noticing this noise. I thought it was lifters at first but now it seems like something more. I've been driving my BMW lately and this engine in general sounds so loud to me again. In the video- its about 78 degrees and the car was running for maybe 30 secs. Any ideas?

So you don't think its a rod or bearing or anything major? I have cleared lifter noise before by changing to synthetic 15w-50 but it was more ticky- I think. I was just going to overhaul it by changing all fluids and purge & etc & wanted a better opinion other than mine!

So you think its a lifter? I really dont think its an injector. My other one had not so good injectors and you could feel them nailing through the lines. these are smooth.

Put it this way, if I came to buy your car and heard that I would remark on it, but not run away. I doubt a rod or bearing.

Get hold of a mechanic's stethascope. Failing that, use a long-shaft screwdriver (preferably a big flathead one), handle to your ear, to probe around for where it's coming from.
