Land of the Giants

It's crazy how big pickups have gotten!

My 85 TDT dwarfed by two monsters.

Great picture!

I love parking my W123's in spaces others can't squeeze in to...

Ok now that is a bit ridiculous. The W123 isn't a small car and it looks like a Mini parked between two Tundras.

Pick ups today suck. Forget about lifting something over the side of the bed and dropping it in. Everything about modern pick up trucks pisses me iff

^^^^ Amen to that brother!

You should live here, I have gotten more dents in my car in 3 months, then I ever did in the 7 years I owned my car in California...

My counselor came here from Canada, she came into town and thought there was a monster truck rally going on.....

Its sickening to see these trucks/suv's and the top of the hood is 5 feet off the ground....but yet they were 16" tires...

American's greed for being bigger and better then the guy next door is pathetic...

Long gone are the days of owning sedans and coupes...

Yeah, the heck with a 12 cent per gallon tax increase. Just add a dollar or two, and put it all to fixing our $#I++y roads. Also I parked my 123 next to a newer Ford Taurus, almost the same when looking at it from the rear ends. Nice W123 by the way!

great pic!
and i bet both of those fat bastards have a small bed too.

i remember parking my v6 1989 dodge d100 next to a much newer dodge truck, being shocked that it looked like that pic from in front, and my old truck had a full 8 foot bed that was actually useful, compared to the newer truck which had a high useless open trunk you could fit some lawn chairs into. these things are getting preposterous

Those aren't even real full-sized pickups, they're just Toyota's.

My Ranger is 2wd, open diff, wheezy 4cyl, and gets more work done than most of those modern trucks. People think I'm crazy to tow stuff* with a "toy truck"
* The brakes are top-notch

My Dad's 5500 work truck though...it is nice to have a waist-high workbench(aka bed). Nighmare loading the lawn mower. Then again that's a flatbed setup as a mobile mechanic so it better be easy to work with
