Interchangeable bumper? 1980 240D to 1982 300D
There has recently been added what appears to be a good condition 1980 240D to a local salvage yard. My 1982 300D needs a new front bumper. Are these two interchangeable? I have done some searching, and it looks like something happened in '81 that makes them different somehow, but couldn't find specifics. Any info appreciated. I'd like to head out there this weekend before it gets stripped. Thanks in advance. Alex
