How many 190D's do you have now? How many turbo models? Did you buy Philly's with the blown head?

winmutt 06-26-2014 09:52 AM

How much are you bribing the city now?

Waste_Gate 06-26-2014 11:03 AM

Trailer it down to the meet next month with the 300TD and we'll fix it there with Philly.

as long as it's registered, they can't bother me about it.
now... the other 6 cars in my yard... they can get grumpy about...
I'm making runs to the scrapyard with them all very soon... nobody wants to come get them from me.

I've got it at the body shop now, he SAYS it will be ready by the 15th...

That is the only combo I think could get me in a W201. What are the 6 cars you have that you are trying to unload?

vstech 06-26-2014 09:10 PM

84 euro 300D four speed

several SD's no engine/transmission installed, but available

the 84 240D that had the 5 speed in it... interior perfect, body nearly rust free, but for hole in driver's c pillar

remains of 85TD euro unfederalized vehicle... sanden a/c installed, with vintage air ebaporator/blower

I've begun hauling stuff to the scrapper.

cooljjay 06-27-2014 01:26 AM

I keep hoping to win the lotto, so I can go relieve him of his cars, so many parts I could use :(

NZScott 06-27-2014 01:52 AM

Steering the thread more off topic, got any spare 5 speed gearboxes? And is that 1985 TD euro a turbo engine?

Wonder how much shipping a 617 is to New Zealand...

ive asked you a couple times if youd be willing to cut a body section off that wagon before you scrap it and sell it to me in a few other threads, but you never respond.

any chance you could sawsall off a bit of it?
im looking for a piece of the right rear pillar next to the gate.

I get that sometimes with forum members, not specifically Vstech. Maybe they have a bad memory?

as far as I can tell, the interior is perfect... only flaw I can find is the driver's seat has a tiny crack in the center...

vstech 06-27-2014 01:09 PM

that last pic is of the 93 300D prepared to go to the scrap yard... block still has balancer, timing cover, and waterpump housing...
