Auxiliary Fans '92 300D 2.5

Hello to the group. When the A/C is on, I know that the auxiliary fans are supposed to come on whenever the freon reaches a certain temperature. However, I noticed yesterday that that one fan is spinning very fast while the other one wasn't spinning but eventually slowly started to spin up but at a much more slower speed. Are they supposed to turn on together and be spinning at the same speed when activated?

Thanks!

I'll check, but I believe they are wired together, so they should be equal...

They need to turn at the same speed. What you want to do is remove them, and clean any debris from the back. Then oil the bushings. The trick to getting the front bushing is that the big nut that holds the blade is left handed...you take it off clockwise.
