W140 - 1994 S350 - The work continues
Well, fixed the key shutoff problem today detailed in another thread. So, I wrapped up some AC work. Got down to 36 degrees on high at about 65MPH when it was about 86 degrees outside. So, I'm happy with that, just need to diagnose why the cold air only comes out the center and rear vents, and warm air out the of the drivers side vent, and HOT air of the passenger side vent. The car sat with a blown 3.5L rodbender for a few years, so I'm assuming its a stuck duo-valve, but that's for another day. Feels good to actually have a car repaired and driving the same day. Doesnt always go this smooth, so I called it a day while I could still say that, haha. Here's a pic of the thermometer on it's way to 36. Was harder than I thought getting it to focus while moving...

Probably it is a duo valve that it is bad,and it is not closing,so the hot coolant gets in heater core .
Check on line for solutions on bad duo valve.
