I still have that damn tick/clack in my 93 300D, changed the injectors and Poppets and flushed everything. There is no smoke, easy start , acceleration 0-60 in 12. mileage 27-30 miles per gal. anybody have a cam go south on them?

Have you checked your lifters those can go south.

I called them "poppets" because because I didn't think they were called that. anyway they were replaced. what are the odds of getting a bad one out of the box?

what oil are you using? what is your injector timing? have you checked your timing chain?

shell 15w-40 havn't check timing or chain but would timing or chain effect performance dramatically?
