VCV Adjustment

Just replaced the vacuum control valve on my 91. Adjusted it according to FSM. There are still some circumstances where there are mild shift bumps. If I am of a mind to play with the adjustment a bit, what would the effects be a slight CW and slight CCW adjustments?

As I remember clockwise CW gives you a sharper shift. CCW gives softer.
