How do I secure W210 fog lamp?
The left fog lamp (as in the whole assembly) on the 98 is loose, i.e. not tightly secured to the car. Anyone have any ideas as to how best to secure it? I don't care about doing it "right." Any clever ghetto solution is fine.

I was wondering if a silicone bath caulk might do the trick.

After the car was hit by that flying metal plate, I got to looking at the housings and it seems like they're pretty loosely held in, possibly for adjustment purposes. I'm planning on putting the car up on ramps to get a closer look since the impact knocked out the lamp at some level. ie: It's not working...

Have you got it up and it's front underside panel removed to have a look at it?

Yes....did that to replace the bulb which was out. It's not obvious to me how it's supposed to be secured.
