photo of under hood components 1984 300td

Does anyone have a good photo or complete diagram of under hood components for a 1984 300td? I've looked at lots of threads/posts and find diagrams of specific systems but not a general description of items. An actual photo with labeled components would be very helpful to a new owner like myself.
I'm just getting to know this car. Owned it for about a week. No rust. 311k on odo. Looks very original. SLS leaking but works, kind of. Power windows weak. Runs pretty well . I'm getting a high pitched whine between 2400 and 2700 rpm. Assuming something with turbo.
Lots of things to learn and things to be done but this site is great. Thanks for your help so far and hope to contribute as I learn more.

There are several variations on a theme and of course the possibility that things have been modified.

I suggest you tackle it the other way round and take a photo of your engine bay label some parts and post in in the diesel section and say "what are these bits"?

Alternatively you might get a rough idea for the obvious parts by looking in a haynes manual or similar - usually there's a labelled picture in those books pointing out the air filter...
